Beach4Art get creative for Christmas

Beach4Art is a creative family of four from Devon who create inspiring beach art.

The family create stunning beach art using stones and pebbles from Sandymere Beach on the North Devon coast.

They collect colourful rocks, sticks and shells to create portraits of varying subjects, such as birds, mammals, and florals.

The results are playful and highlight the beautiful colours to be found in using natural materials.

The family of four began creating beach art when one child was tasked with making a mandala during the initial COVID-19 lockdown.

They decided to use the assignment as an opportunity to get out of the house and collect natural materials for it.

They enjoyed the process so much that they began to do it every weekend.

As Christmas is approaching, they’ve created lots of festive deigns, including a huge Santa Claus carrying his sack.

You can scroll down this page to see a few of their recent designs.

We recommend that you follow Beach4Art on Facebook HERE and Instagram too if you'd like to see their latest work and upcoming creations.

They also have an Etsy store where you can purchase their wonderful products, in both print and digital.

Their creations are truly incredible, it’s definitely work talking a look - and it could make a perfect Christmas present!

They create all their inspiring work on Sandymere Beach.

The North Devon beach, which sits next to the Braunton Burrows sand dunes, offers a huge expanse of golden sands.

This is a favourite spot for surfers but is also a very popular family beach for those staying in Bideford, thanks to its great facilities.

North Devon is probably best known for its award-winning coastline, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

One of the most popular places to visit in North Devon is the cobbled village of Clovelly..

The picturesque, ancient, fishing village of Clovelly is uniquely special and was once owned by the Queen of England.

From Elizabethan days until today, Clovelly (pictured below) has been in private ownership, which has helped preserve its original atmosphere.

Clinging to a 400 foot cliff, it has no vehicular traffic, just donkeys and sledges.

Its steep, cobbled street tumbles its way down to the ancient fishing harbour and C14th quay! It’s defiantly worth a visit if you’re in or around the North Devon area.
